Socializing During the COVID-19 Pandemic

As we are months into the pandemic, we are all experiencing a shared issue: we feel disconnected and isolated from loved ones, friends, coworkers, etc. Even as things are slowly starting to reopen, the socializing we once knew is now a foreign concept. We all know how important connecting with others is for our well-being, so throughout the week, we will be sharing some fun suggestions with you all to socialize safely and healthily!

The first suggestion is to have a cooking night with family and friends! You can do this with those in your home or even virtually over FaceTime or Zoom with friends. Pick the same recipe that you want to try and cook/enjoy the meal together. Below are some tasty recipes to try:

 

Another idea is to ask someone to be your quarantine pen pal. Gone are the days of handwritten letters and postcards. We don’t know about you, but we love going to the mailbox and finding a handwritten note from someone. We all need something to look forward to during these times, so consider sending mail back and forth with a friend.
