Anna Arcodia is a Mental Health Counselor and Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) in CCPs Integrated Behavioral Health practice. BHCs at Community Care Physicians are licensed mental health providers and social workers. Many are embedded within our practices working side by side with your doctor and healthcare team in delivering you the best “whole person” healthcare possible.
Anna’s background includes providing individual counseling for college students. Additional experience includes work at Unity House Domestic Violence Services, where she primarily focused on assisting survivors and education/awareness about domestic violence in the community. She has experience treating a variety of conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, relational stress, academic stress, and disordered eating.
Anna has always wanted a profession in which she could help people. She had considered being a doctor, a physical therapist, and a nutritionist, and eventually, she landed on a therapist. Her first psychology class and helping one of her friends through a tough time in her life played a significant role in this decision. Anna’s favorite part of the job is guiding her patients to a better understanding of themselves and seeing them have that “aha!” moment, leading to a healthier, more fulfilling, and better quality of life for the patient.
Outside of medicine, Anna loves to be outside in the sunshine and nature, especially with her German Shepherd, Apollo. Occasionally, she plays pickup soccer with friends and loves a good, cozy day with snacks, movies, and snuggles with her dog.
