Tamara John is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and works as a Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) on our Integrated Behavioral Health team. BHCs at Community Care Physicians are all licensed mental health providers and many are embedded within our practices working side by side with your doctor and health care team in delivering you the best “whole person” healthcare possible.

Tamara is patient-centered. As a clinician, she works with her patient’s best interests at heart and makes sure they are part of their treatment plan. When caring for patients, Tamara believes providing patients with all the necessary resources is most important.

Tamara’s favorite part of working as a BHC is open communication. She enjoys being able to talk through things and listen to the whole issue. Tamara takes the time to understand where her patients are coming from.

Outside of work, Tamara enjoys reading, traveling, and listening to music.
