Biography

Cassandra Wells is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and works as a Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) on our Integrated Behavioral Health team. BHCs at Community Care Physicians are licensed mental health providers and social workers. Many are embedded within our practices working side by side with your doctor and health care team in delivering you the best “whole person” healthcare possible.

Cassandra’s background includes family, children, and adult counseling in both individual and group settings. She has experience treating anxiety, panic disorder, depression, OCD, stress management, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder. Cassandra has also provided therapy in a community behavioral health outpatient clinic and helped to design and implement a program that assists with emotional needs at a cancer care center.

Mental health services helped Cassandra’s family growing up. Since then, she has been lucky enough to always know pursuing this field of medicine was something she wanted to do. Her favorite part of working as a social worker is seeing people master therapeutic tools and obtain more control and joy in their life.

Cassandra participates in the Mental Health Task Force and enjoys hiking and trying new things in her spare time.
